Former Manchester United striker Teddy Sheringham believes Liverpool will miss out on winning the league this season because new manager Arne Slot is inexperienced.
The England legend said: “I think Chelsea have been impressive but I don’t think they have the consistency of the top three teams in the table. Liverpool look great at the moment but I think they will stumble along the way.”
“In my opinion, Manchester City will be back in top form. Arsenal are also in the running for the title. If Liverpool lose, it will put them under great pressure with points once again closing in on them.”
“I think the good thing about Arsenal is that Liverpool are the leaders and it’s not a team like Man City because Man City is a ufabet https://ufabet999.app team that knows how to finish in one go. But I think Liverpool under the new manager, even though they are great, I have doubts about how far they can go without getting injured or tired.”
“I don’t think anyone can say with certainty that they will win the league because you’re not sure if you’re going to be consistent throughout the season because it’s only Arne Slot’s first season.”
